WHY WOULD I USE YOU OVER YOUR COMPETITORS?

Our aim is to make your business life easier and make sure you are always charged 25% less fees than our competitors. We appreciate that you are running your micro-small-medium business in a constantly changing environment,  and that is why we made it our goal to have a transaction fee as low as possible with no fixed-term binding contracts or hidden fees.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

Downloading IPosUp app and using IPos soft and HCE Wallet is free! If you want the IPOS bric or pad device it costs £19 + VAT (Rs1800 + GST in India). We take transaction fee of 1.0% or less, making us 33% cheaper than our competitors! No extra hidden costs or fixed-term binding contracts!

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS CAN BE ACCEPTED ON IPOSUP?

All Visa and Mastercards are accepted. Smart devices with Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted, as well as standard QR Code bank payments such as UPI, FasterPay, PesaLink, etc.

HOW DO I CONNECT IPOS SOFT?

Once you have downloaded IPosUp app onto your smartphone or tablet and registered, IPos soft card reader option will be available if your smart device has NFC!

WHAT IS THE TRANSACTION LIMIT?

The transaction limit is £100 per contactless transaction. The India Government has this limit set to Rs2000 currently.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY STATEMENTS?

You can find your Transaction Statements in the IPosUp app; just press the “Statement” button. You can also view the settled transactions’ Statement and Account Balance in your HCE Wallet function.

WHAT IS AN NFC CHIP AND WHERE DO I FIND IT?

Near Field Communication, also known as NFC, is a short range technology that usually requires a distance of up to 4 mm to initiate a contactless payment. The location of the NFC can vary depending on the type of smartphone/tablet you have.

HOW DO I ACCEPT BANK TRANSACTIONS ON IPOSUP?

All you need to do is press the ‘Bank’ button at the point-of-sale and input the amount of bank payment, and IPosUp app will perform a QR Code scan bank-to-bank account payment!

HOW DO I CONNECT THE IPOS BRIC OR PAD?

You can connect the IPos bric or pad by Bluetooth with your Android smartphone/tablet. The numerical code on the back of the IPos bric is the Bluetooth name. For a more detailed explanation click here.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY STATEMENTS?

WHAT IS THE TRANSACTION LIMIT?

The maximum transaction limit is £2000 (Rs2,00,000) per transaction.

WHAT IS THE BATTERY LIFE?

It all depends on how much you are using it! We recommend charging it every couple of days to ensure it does not run out of battery during your business hours.

HOW LONG WILL THE IPOS BRIC OR PAD TAKE TO BE DELIVERED?

As soon as an order is made we aim to ship the order out to you by the next working day via First Class Post. 

HOW DO I ACCEPT BANK TRANSACTIONS ON IPOS BRIC?

All you need to do is press the ‘Bank’ button at the point-of-sale and input the amount of bank payment and IPosUp will process a QR Code bank-to-bank account payment!

FAQ about HCE Wallet

CAN I CHANGE MY SWIMTM ID PIN?

Yes you can! Once you confirm that you wish to reset your password, you will receive an SMS OTP (one time password) required to change your SWIM PIN.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE FUNDS TO REACH MY BANK ACCOUNT?

The process can take up to 5 minutes.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO WITH HCE WALLET?

In your HCE Wallet you can also check your transaction statements and history, and withdraw/deposit money.

FAQ about Registration

WHERE DO I FIND MY OTP OR SWIMTM ID?

Your OTP is delivered to the mobile number that you registered with us. Your SWIMTM ID is sent to the email address you have registered with us. If you can not find the email in your mailbox, please check your spam folder or double check you have submitted the correct email address.

SHOULD I SELECT BUSINESS OR PERSONAL?

If you have a Registered Company Number you can register in IPOSUP as a ‘Business’. If you do not have a Registered Company Number you can register in a  ‘Personal’ capacity.

WHY DO I NEED TO GIVE SO MANY DETAILS?

Much like signing up to a new bank account we need your details to confirm your identity so you are able to legally make transactions. We house your data in a secure platform and do not use it for any other purpose other than confirming your identity.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY SORT CODE?

Your Sort Code is made up of 6 numbers, which together identify the Bank and Branch where your Bank Account is held. You can usually find your Sort Code on your bank statements or in your online banking. Some banks also print the sort code on the front or back of your debit card.

FAQ about Security

WHAT IS A SWIM ID?

Your mobile device is bound using the phone’s unique identity (IMEI), and the IPOSUOP app is unlocked using your unique SWIM ID (Software Wireless Identity Module) token and your associated user SWIM PIN. By using the SWIM ID public/private keys, we achieve a security characteristic of PKI-2FA (Public Key Infrastructure with 2-Factor strong Authentication).

IS IPOSUP CERTIFIED?

We are FCA certified awaiting Safeguarding Account.

WHAT SECURITY MEASURES DOES IPOSUP HAVE IN PLACE?

We follow three basic but secure security principles:

1. Generate your private Digital Identity keys and Digital Card Wallets in our trusted Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for 2-Factor Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

2. Encrypt all Internet communication to our IPOSUP infrastructure; (SCA compliant to PSD2, UK’s Payment Service Directive 2).

3. PCI Point-to-Point Encryption (PCI PTPE) of all card data from your seller IPOSUP app to our cloud payments service host.

FAQ about Cash-Back

WHAT IS CASH-BACK?

We are giving our merchants the opportunity to receive

cash-back into their HCE Wallet if they are making total transactions of £10,000+ per month. This opportunity is called Cash-Back.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE CASH-BACK IN MY ACCOUNT?

The credited amount will be in your account by the end of the month if you have transacted over £10,000.
