Adding a new user through IPOS soft and IPOS bric

Adding a new user, such as new staff members can all be done within the IPOS apps. All you need is your new users contact details and they can do the rest by registering with SWIMTM ID.

1. CLICK ON THE SETTING ICON AND SELECT “MANAGE SWIMTM ACCOUNTS”

On the top right of your IPOS App screen there is a settings button. Click this button and select “Manage SWIMTM Account”.

2. SELECT “MANAGE USERS”

Within “Manage SWIMTM Account” you are given multiple options. To add a new user, tap “Manage Users”.

3. SELECT “REGISTER NEW USER”

A pop-up will appear showing you who are your active users and at the bottom there is an option to select “Register New User”.

4. ENTER THE NEW USERS DETAILS

You will be prompted to enter the new users contact details such as their name, mobile number and email address. Select the type of user this new user will be: Primary User: Can issue refunds through the IPOS apps and has more capabilities within HCE Wallet. Secondary User: Can only sell through the IPOS apps and has limited capabilities in HCE Wallet.

5. REGISTRATION SUCCESSFUL

If the mobile number and email address is valid then registraion is successful! The new users OTP (One Time Password) is send via SMS and the SWIMTM ID will be send via email.

6. OTP CAN BE FOUND IN THE NEW USERS MESSAGES

The OPT (6-digits) can be found in the new users messages. They use this PIN when first registering as part of our 2-factor Authentication process.

7. SWIMTM ID CAN BE FOUND IN THE USERS EMAIL

A 14 digit code will be sent to the new users email address. This is their unique digital ID which they will create a PIN for future logins.

8. AVAILABLE ON BOTH IPOS SOFT AND IPOS BRIC

This feature is available on both IPOS soft and IPOS bric meaning no matter the type of IPOS Point-Of-Sale Terminal you use, there is always an ability to add new users.
